Robards 1st Shift Front Side Cut Up Forklift Operator, $18.30 plus $2 attendance incentive

About the role

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture
• Receive training as required
• Perform various positions as required/assigned
• Operate forklift daily in the Cutup Area
• Load and unload combos, skids, and move product to necessary locations
• Obtain forklift license and change battery as needed (training provided)
• Maneuver pallet jack around tables and belts, continuously grip control handle
• Be aware of obstacles in all travel areas
• Complete various log sheets
• Perform any other duties assigned by Manager

Requirements

• Minimum 3 months of work history with one employer listed on the application
• Preferred 3 months of operator experience
• Location is not accepting rehires
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
• Position only open to team members currently working at this facility or complex
• Team members interested in transferring from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner
