About the role

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Receive training as required
• Perform various positions as required/assigned

Description

This position is responsible for providing operating forklift on a daily basis in the Live Receiving Area.

Tasks

• Loading and unloading combos, skids, and moving product to necessary location.
• Must obtain forklift license and able to change battery as needed (training will available).
• Maneuver pallet jack around tables and belts, be able to continuously grip control handle of the jack.
• Driver must be aware of all obstacles in all areas of travel.
• Complete various log sheets.
• Exposed to possible warm or cold temperatures, wet, humid, or dusty conditions.
• Requires walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 70 pounds on a frequent basis.

Requirements

• Location does not accept rehires.
• Must have 3 months of work history with one employer listed on the application.
• Prefer 3 months of forklift operator experience.
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
