About the role

RiseWell Community Services is seeking a compassionate & dedicated Full Time Rehabilitative Associate to join our team in Brentwood, NY. In this role, you will Provide supportive counseling, restorative services, and crisis intervention to people with psychiatric disabilities in a transitional licensed residential program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supportive counseling, restorative services, and crisis intervention to people with psychiatric disabilities in a transitional licensed residential program.
  • Assist with daily living activities and ensure safety and security of residents.
  • Participate in group therapy sessions and individual counseling sessions as needed.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures related to the program.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma with 1 year experience working with persons with psychiatric disabilities OR a BA in Human Services.
  • A clean valid NY State Driver’s License.
  • Fingerprinting, criminal record check, and approval from NYS Office of Mental Health required.

Qualifications

  • Wed - Sat 8AM - 6PM 1PM - 11PM
