Rehabilitation Technician, CNA

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists (PT, OT, SLP) by preparing, cleaning, and maintaining treatment areas and equipment.
• Safely transport residents to and from therapy sessions and the rehab gym, supporting resident safety and comfort.
• Ensure therapy schedules run smoothly by coordinating with nursing and therapy teams.
• Maintain and restock therapy supplies, monitor equipment for safety and cleanliness.
• Support therapy documentation, organizing resident records as needed.
• Assist nursing staff with resident care tasks as appropriate.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation or Rehab Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current CNA certification in good standing in NYS.
• Prior rehab tech experience is a plus.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to quality care.
• Patience, cheerful disposition, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Flexible, organized, and capable of managing pressure effectively.
