Rehabilitation Technician, CNA

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists (PT, OT, SLP) with preparing, maintaining, and cleaning treatment areas and equipment.
• Safely transport residents to and from therapy sessions and the rehab gym, supporting resident safety and comfort.
• Ensure smooth therapy schedules by communicating effectively with therapy and nursing teams.
• Maintain therapy supplies, monitor equipment safety and cleanliness, and support documentation processes.
• Assist nursing staff with resident care as needed, adhering to CNA duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation or Rehab Manager.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification in good standing in NYS.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to quality care.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, remaining flexible and adaptable.
• Patience, a cheerful disposition, and a genuine interest in resident well-being.
• Prior rehab tech experience is a plus.
• Covid-19 vaccinations encouraged but not mandated.
