Rehabilitation Technician, CNA

About the Role

Weekend Rehab Technician supporting therapists in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists (PT, OT, SLP) by preparing, cleaning, and maintaining treatment areas and equipment.
• Safely transport residents to and from therapy sessions and the rehab gym, supporting resident safety and comfort.
• Support therapy schedules by coordinating resident movement and ensuring smooth operations.
• Maintain and restock therapy supplies, monitor equipment for safety and cleanliness.
• Support documentation processes by organizing resident records.
• Assist nursing staff with resident care tasks as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Rehabilitation Director or Manager.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification in good standing in NYS.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about quality care.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Patience, a cheerful disposition, and a genuine interest in helping residents.
• Able to handle pressure, flexible, and cooperative with staff.

Schedule

Part-time position available on Fridays through Sundays, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM.

Prior rehab tech experience is a plus. Covid-19 vaccination encouraged but not mandated.
