Rehabilitation Technician, CNA

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists and nursing staff by transporting residents safely to and from therapy sessions and the rehab gym.
• Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment areas and equipment to ensure a smooth therapy schedule.
• Support resident safety, comfort, and well-being during transport and therapy.
• Communicate effectively with therapy and nursing teams regarding resident needs and schedules.
• Maintain and restock therapy supplies, monitor equipment for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with therapy documentation, record organization, and resident records management.
• Support nursing staff with resident care as needed, consistent with CNA duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current CNA certification in good standing in NYS.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about quality resident care.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Patience, a cheerful disposition, and willingness to assist residents and colleagues.
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to a flexible environment.
• Prior rehab tech experience is a plus.
• COVID-19 vaccination encouraged but not mandated.
