The Rehabilitation Technician position plays a vital role in supporting our physical and occupational therapists by assisting patients with prescribed exercise programs, preparing treatment areas, applying therapeutic modalities, and ensuring the clinic operates efficiently.

• Aid patients with therapeutic exercises and activities as directed by licensed Physical and Occupational Therapists.
• Prepare patients for treatment sessions, including setting up therapeutic modalities (such as heat, ice, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and traction) under therapist supervision.
• Monitor patients during exercises and report any concerns or changes to the supervising therapist.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment by disinfecting equipment, treatment tables, and common areas according to clinic protocols.
• Ensure treatment areas are fully stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
• Aid with patient flow by escorting patients, preparing treatment spaces, and helping maintain an efficient clinic schedule.
• Set up and clean treatment areas before and after each patient visit.
• Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming, positive experience for patients and their families.
• Perform other clinic support duties as assigned to promote efficient daily operations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with appropriate body mechanics.
