Rehabilitation Technician

About the role

Phelps Health Waynesville is an outpatient facility providing therapy services for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Located in Waynesville, MO, we serve Rolla, Waynesville, and the surrounding communities in south-central Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment areas and clean treatment areas.
• Position patients and transport, assist patients, and assist therapists.
• Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment areas and equipment.
• Procure and keep an accurate inventory of therapy supplies.
• Perform routine clerical tasks for the Therapy Department.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum six months experience in an acute or long-term facility preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to transport, lift, transfer, move, and reposition patients.
