About the role

As a Rehabilitation Technician, you will assist Occupational and Physical Therapists (OTR/RPT) with patient care tasks to support patients in achieving optimal rehabilitation goals. You will communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with the rehabilitation team, monitor patient reactions to treatment, and follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Assists Occupational and Physical Therapists (OTR/RPT) with patient care tasks to support patients in achieving optimal rehabilitation goals.
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with the rehabilitation team.
  • Maintains accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Monitors patient reactions to treatment and reports any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Lifts and carries equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth operation of the therapy department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months' relevant experience strongly recommended in a rehab setting.
  • CPR/BCLS certification (when required).
  • Willingness to participate in on-the-job training after initial orientation.
