Rehabilitation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a Rehabilitation Specialist to support clients in a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Day Program. You will provide direct care, foster client independence, ensure safety, and support holistic recovery in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a residential counselor to assist clients in developing skills for community living and socialization
• Ensure medication safety and compliance
• Collaborate with a service team to develop and implement individual plans
• Provide transportation to medical appointments and advocate for clients during visits
• Maintain sanitation and meet health regulations
• Support food service operations, including meal preparation, delivery, inventory, and documentation

Requirements

• Current SERVSAFE certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to acquire additional certifications (CPR/First Aid, Infection Control, etc.)
• High school diploma or GED (bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Valid driver’s license with minimal points
• Flexibility to work various shifts
