Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) services consist of day programs and supportive living programs. Clients in our day programs have access to group activities, individual support, and mental health services. Clients in the supportive living program receive support in maintaining independent living and have access to the day program.
Schedule
Full Time, Monday-Friday 8am to 4pm
Responsibilities
- Act as a residential counselor, working one-on-one with clients to learn or regain skills for successful community and independent living and socialization.
- Ensure medication compliance, including responsibility for safety, dosage, and cleanliness.
- Work as part of a collaborative service team to develop and implement individual service plans.
- Provide transportation and attend clients’ medical appointments, offering advocacy services and ensuring follow-up instructions are documented and followed through.
- Ensure overall sanitation and Department of Health regulations are met and exceeded.
- Complete all CACFP documentation accurately and timely.
- Assist in daily food operations and as-needed catering, ensuring meals are attractive, nutritionally complete, appealing, and delivered fresh and hot.
- Coordinate the preparation and delivery of off-site meals.
- Ensure food service documentation and licensing is accurate, complete, and current.
- Ensure compliance with all Department of Labor and State Laws, regulations, guidelines, and directives.
- Participate in all required food service trainings.
- Monitor accurate portion control and inventory control.
- Negotiate food purchases and delivery, and assist in general inventory control for food services.
Requirements
- Current, valid SERVSAFE certification upon hire or within 60 days of hire.
- Ability to obtain additional certifications/trainings as required (e.g., CPR/First Aid, Infection Control, Food Safety and Handling, and Crisis Intervention/Suicidal Protocol).
- Direct knowledge of or willingness to learn and implement the CACFP program.
- High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications and trainings as required.
- Driver’s license with 3 points or less and access to an insured vehicle.
- Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays depending on program needs.
