About the Role
Provide compassionate, individualized care to patients in a rehabilitation setting, overseeing care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, documenting patient progress, and instructing patients and caregivers on treatments and medications. Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed, respond to emergencies, participate in staff training, and ensure effective communication across departments.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate care delivery.
- Communicate with other departments and document patient conditions.
- Provide patient and caregiver education.
- Participate in interdisciplinary conferences and emergency responses.
- Conduct staff training and identify developmental needs.
Requirements
- Valid RN licensure per state regulations.
- CRRN® certification is required.
- CPR certification; ACLS preferred.
- Experience in inpatient hospital and rehabilitation settings is preferred.
