Rehabilitation Clinic Assistant
About the role
Park Nicollet is seeking a Rehab Clinic Assistant to join their team. This position serves as a Partner for Good, contributing to the quality of care and patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of clerical and clinical tasks assisting Rehabilitation Services Care Teams.
- Works in a fast-paced environment, switching between tasks as needed.
- Communicates effectively with patients, including those with speech and hearing impairments, using interpreters as necessary.
- Maintains good customer relations and patient confidentiality.
- Works alternate weekends, rotating between Saturdays and Sundays.
Requirements
- Six months experience in a customer service job or medical-related experience in a hospital, rehab, or clinical setting.
- Strong verbal communication, customer relations, and listening skills.
- Good telephone etiquette, money handling, and keyboarding skills.
- Ability to work independently under supervision of multiple rehabilitation professionals.
- Problem-solving skills and comfort with computers and learning new equipment/software.
