Rehabilitation Aide

Responsibilities

• Prepares the treatment area, patient, equipment, and materials.
• Performs procedures under supervision.
• Makes sure materials and provisions are monitored and informs the manager of ordering needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Demonstrates familiarity with the shared governance model and performance improvement.
• Demonstrates respectful and effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Develops an emerging awareness of ethical issues and how they relate to clinical practice.
• Demonstrates applied knowledge base in areas of policies, procedures, standards of care, and medications by utilizing HackensackUMC@ Pascack Valley.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience.

Pay

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
