About the role
We are looking for compassionate nurses who love to care for people. We need nurses for 12-hour shifts and welcome multi-state licensees. New graduates are welcome and will receive training. On-the-spot interviews available.
Ensures delivery of high-quality, positive clinical outcomes, and resident/family satisfaction during supervisory shift. Serves as a resource to all staff within the facility regarding the quality of services provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care when required.
- Administer medications and treatments timely according to facility policy.
- Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
- Effectively manage nursing personnel on shift to limit use of overtime and agency personnel.
- Assess the work performance of nursing staff as it relates to unit standards of care and goals.
- Conduct regular staff meetings on each shift and provide updates to Director of Nursing (DON).
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Licensed Vocational Nursing program and licensed in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required for all Skilled Nursing Facilities; Assisted Living Facilities as required by state).
Pay
- LVN: $35.00–$40.00 per hour
- RN: $45.00–$50.00 per hour
- Housing stipend included
