About the role
We are seeking compassionate nurses to deliver high-quality, positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction during supervisory shifts.
Responsibilities
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction during supervisory shift
- Serve as a resource to all staff regarding the quality of services provided
- Provide direct resident care when required
- Administer medications and treatments timely and according to facility policy
- Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders (as allowed by Nurse Practice Act)
- Effectively manage nursing personnel on shift to limit overtime and agency personnel
- Assess work performance of nursing staff against unit standards of care and goals
- Conduct regular staff meetings on each shift and provide updates to DON
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Licensed Vocational program and licensed in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification (requirements vary by state and facility type)
