Rehab Technician

About the role

Millennium Therapy is looking to add a Full-Time or Part-Time Rehabilitation Technician to our staff in Dubuque, IA for the skilled setting. Rehab Tech will assist clinicians with telehealth facilitation, transporting residents and other resident care activities.

Responsibilities

• Assists clinicians with telehealth facilitation
• Transports residents and performs other resident care activities
• Cleans and maintains the clinical environment and assigned equipment
• Oversees the maintenance of equipment in accordance with infection control safety guidelines
• Provides/assists in the transportation of patients/residents to therapy

Qualifications

• CNA or therapy rehab tech experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; one year’s experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Demonstrates ability to perform basic math skills (i.e., add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
• Demonstrates competency in use of technology
• Demonstrates effective English verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers
• Demonstrates good organizational and interpersonal skills

Requirements

• Carries out defined Rehabilitation Technicians (Rehab Techs) duties on a regular basis
• Performs housekeeping and maintenance tasks; filing, billing, data entry, answering phones, and other clerical functions or department duties as needed
• Carries out wheelchair and equipment, inventory; stocking, and maintenance duties

Pay

$17 - $20, negotiable with experience, CNA preferred

Schedule

• Full-time - 30 - 40 hrs
• Part-time - 20 - 25 hrs
