About the role
Join our team at VHS Rehabilitation as a Rehab Technician. Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are available with daily pay. Locations include Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, Yorktown, Gloucester, Kilmarnock, Norfolk, and Virginia.

Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Rehab Technician supports the therapy team in delivering safe, effective, and resident-centered rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) staff during therapy sessions.
- Prepare, set up, and clean therapy equipment and treatment areas to ensure safety and readiness for use.
- Escort residents to and from therapy sessions safely and promptly.
- Monitor resident safety during therapy activities and report any changes in condition to licensed therapy staff.
- Document resident participation and assist in maintaining accurate therapy records as directed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient therapy spaces and equipment storage areas.
- Support therapists in encouraging resident engagement, motivation, and participation in rehabilitation activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid CPR certification required.
- Previous experience in healthcare or skilled nursing preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to safely assist residents with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic exercises.

Pay
$18-$23/hour (all inclusive)
