Rehab Technician

Patient Care

• Registration duties, including scheduling, answering phones, checking in and out patients, collecting co-pays, etc.
• Department upkeep: preparation of treatment areas, submitting work orders, equipment maintenance and assembly/disassembly, tracking inventory, stocking supplies, video recording therapy sessions, transporting patients to/from therapy sessions.
• Direct/indirect patient care under therapist supervision (casting, transfers, toileting, dressing, bathing, positioning, gait training, assisting with groups, etc.)
• Care coordination between disciplines, providers, and families.

Technical Expertise and Skills

• Experience in a rehab setting with medically fragile or disabled patients preferred.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Experience working with all organizational levels required.
• Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software required.
