Rehab Technician

Job Summary

Broad River Rehab is seeking a Part Time Rehab Tech / CNA to support their therapy team at their skilled nursing facility in Bermuda Run, NC. This position works 20 hours per week, 5 days a week, mornings preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Transport and move patients as directed.
• Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for treatments.
• Auxiliary in facilitating telehealth visits.
• Assist licensed personnel in patient care.
• Maintain awareness of patient changes and communicate to licensed personnel.
• Build a strong rehabilitative care practice within each facility.
• Establish and maintain relationships with professional staff and good public relations with patients and families.
• Maintain confidentiality of company, patient and client information.
• Adhere to the appropriate dress code for assigned facility and work environment.
• Adhere to the requirements of the patient’s Bill of Rights.

Competencies/Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to contribute effectively as part of a team.
• Physical capabilities: Bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, transferring, lifting up to 40 pounds, and assisting adults/children weighing up to 200 pounds with possible use of mechanical devices.
• Proficient typing ability (minimum 40 words per minute).

Credentials

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year healthcare experience.
• CNA certification required.
