Responsibilities
- Create rapport and positive working relationships with key facility personnel and fellow Legacy employees that allows for discovery of others’ needs.
- Oversee internal marketing efforts to assist with relationship building with staff and residents while keeping community leaders apprised of Legacy’s programs and other offerings.
- Manage site productivity and makes necessary changes to achieve budget.
- Maintain a caseload that assists the rehab department in meeting standards.
- Able to assess patient needs and develop clinical programs appropriate for the facility census.
- Able to direct and train others in clinical service delivery across disciplines.
- Daily coordination of rehab department with facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming.
- Participates in clinical outcomes reporting and shares with the customer.
- Manages staff schedules to meet the caseload requirements and utilizes the scheduling tools for patient schedules.
- Manages CliniFax and all requirements of physician signatures on the therapy plan of cares.
- Creates and maintains team relationships and open communication with and between rehab staff, facility staff, and Legacy corporate personnel.
- Affords assistance with orientation/training for staff with guidance and assistance from ARD/MSM to meet company, state and federal standards.
- Desirable Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a degree from accredited college or university or equivalent experience (i.e., degree in PT, PTA, OT, COTA).
- Licensed and registered (PT, PTA, OT, COTA) in state where assigned.
- Three to five years’ experience in long-term care (LTC) or senior living.
- Some prior supervisory experience preferred but not required.
Pay
USD $29.00 - USD $35.00 /Hr.
