Rehab Director- PTA

About the role

This opportunity allows you to build strong relationships with patients, staff, and community leaders, and to lead a team dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of seniors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Legacy representative at the facility, promoting Legacy policies and clinical programs.
• Oversee internal marketing efforts to foster relationships with staff and residents.
• Manage site productivity and make necessary changes to meet budget goals.
• Absorb patient needs and develop appropriate clinical programs based on facility census.
• Direct and train others in clinical service delivery across disciplines.
• Daily coordinate rehab department activities with facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming.
• Participate in clinical outcomes reporting and share results with customers.
• Manage staff schedules to meet caseload requirements and utilize scheduling tools for patient schedules.
• Manage CliniFax and ensure proper physician signatures on therapy plans.
• Create and maintain team relationships and open communication with rehab staff, facility staff, and Legacy corporate personnel.
• Assist with staff orientation and training, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements

• Clinical background as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Three to five years’ experience in long-term care (LTC) or senior living.
• Some prior supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Minimum of a degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
• Licensed and registered (PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP) in the state where assigned.

Pay

USD $28.00 - USD $34.00 /Hr.

Schedule

Mondays through Fridays with no weekend or holiday requirements.
