Rehab Director (DOR) - Full-Time

Role Overview

The Director of Rehab oversees inpatient acute rehab services, ensuring high-quality patient care and staff coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a 16-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:5
• Perform procedures such as wound care, line insertion, and medication administration
• Foster patient engagement through goal setting, hourly rounding, and bedside reports
• Ensure compliance with unit policies, maintain documentation in Meditech, and support staff with scheduling and resource allocation

Qualifications & Skills

• Require inpatient acute rehab experience
• Familiarity with FIM and CARE tools
• Med/Surg nursing background
• Must hold BLS certification
• Demonstrate proficiency in patient-centered care

Additional Details

• Maintain a well-equipped, private-room rehab environment with new technology
• Support staff with a 1-week orientation, flexible schedule options, and a collaborative team with experienced RNs
