Key Rehab is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator (Occupational Therapy Assistant) to join our team in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting.

About the Role

In addition to providing therapy under your disciplinary scope of practice (OTA or PTA), the Program Coordinator serves as the liaison between Key Rehab and community staff. This position is instrumental in minimizing administrative burden and providing support to allow clinicians to deliver therapy services. The role also coordinates staffing and daily scheduling to meet key performance indicators and expectations under the direction of a Regional Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services within the scope of practice as an OTA or PTA.
• Serve as the liaison between Key Rehab and community staff to minimize administrative burden.
• Support clinicians in delivering therapy services.
• Coordinate staffing and daily scheduling to meet key performance indicators and expectations.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited PTA or OTA program.
• Current PTA or OTA license to practice in the assigned state(s).
• CPR certification, as required by the community.
• Valid driver license and car insurance, as required by state law.
• Compliance with other items required by federal, state, and local standards.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Prior experience in a long-term care setting and service coordination.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to efficiently manage tasks and address challenges.
• Flexibility and team collaboration, with adaptability to changing situations.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills for clear interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Experience with the geriatric population, demonstrating an understanding of their unique needs.
• Knowledge of Medicare billing regulations and guidelines.
