Rehab Billing & Compliance Specialist

About the role

The Rehabilitation Billing and Compliance Specialist is responsible for editing management reports daily. He/she oversees Medicare and hospital billing compliance for Rehab Services and provides compliance education to hospital and outpatient offices as necessary. He/she oversees and maintains the Rehabilitation Charge Master for all Rehab Cost Centers. He/she will maintain a professional relationship while serving as a liaison with physicians, therapists, office staff, billing services, fiscal services and information technology. He/she will assist Rehab management with projects and perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Terminology or Business or eight (8) years' experience in Medical Billing and Compliance
• Experience: Eight (8) years' experience with Medical Billing and Compliance
• License/Registration/Certifications: None required

Qualifications

• Preferred License/Registration/Certifications: Certified Medical Coder (CMC)
