Billing Support Specialist
About the role
The Billing Support Specialist will work within our industry leading Institutional division, playing a key role providing office management support for two corporate account managers. This position is responsible for managing and prioritizing requests from these associates and ensuring all necessary reporting and correspondence is completed in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. As a critical role for the business, this position expeditiously and effectively resolves the issues and concerns of large, multi-unit corporate account customers.
Responsibilities
- Order to Cash processing including sales order entry, delivery creation, and invoicing
- Monitoring of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Administration and general office duties involving, typing, and record and file maintenance, documentation creation
- Aiding with sales reporting and documentation
- Maintaining relevant EDI information and processing EDI errors
- Working closely with customers and internal departments to resolve order and/or inventory issues
- Providing general administrative support to the District Manager and Sales positions
- Generating and maintaining confidential information and administering company policy and procedures
- Managing the daily operation of the office, which will include mail and telephone reception
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years minimum of administrative support experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree completed or in progress
- SAP experience
- EDI Customer Portals – Ex. ARIBA, OpenInvoice, iSupplier, etc.
Skills
- Strong PC skills including demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables)
