Job Overview

We are seeking a rehabilitation assistant (RA) to support our M Health Fairview Lakes Medical Center Rehab Clinics in Wyoming, Chisago and North Branch!

This position is an excellent opportunity to gain operational experience if you are pursuing a career in rehabilitation, or if you have curiosity and want to learn more about the field. The RA is an essential team member supporting customer service and business operations.

About the Role

The rehabilitation assistant supports the delivery of services to patients receiving outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, edema services and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. The position involves assisting with assigned duties including transporting patients, maintenance activities, clerical work, and assisting with patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in check-in desk operations
• Handle call center for appointments
• Follow up on insurance-related questions or order requests
• Facilitate correspondence to medical professionals
• Support queues for regulatory-related forms
• Support supply management
• Handle cleaning department equipment

Requirements

• 1 year medical office experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Able to multi-task
• Able to work in a fast-paced office environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts and locations required

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year hospital or clinic front office experience with electronic scheduling, registration, and Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Nursing Assistant Registered (preferred)

Schedule

Monday, Thursday and Friday. Flexibility to work at various M Health Fairview Lakes Rehab locations including; Wyoming, North Branch, and Chisago.
