About the role

Tuttle Medical Center is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Coordinator to join our team. This position participates in activities relating to government and regulatory requirements and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Accumulate regulatory compliance and technical information for submission to various local and state governmental regulatory agencies.
  • Interpret and clarify federal, state or local laws or regulations.
  • Establish and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Learn the federal, state and institutional regulations, policies and guidelines pertaining to human subjects research and apply them appropriately.
  • Assist with and facilitate educational activities.
  • Facilitate timely communication with the institutional review boards, faculty, and residents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field OR four years experience in a related field in lieu of bachelor's.
  • Related certification, licenses and registrations may be required in some areas.
  • Current certification through the Society of Clinical Research Associates as a Certified Clinical Research Professional OR the Association of Clinical Research Professions as a Certified Professional.
  • Two years' experience working as an educator in a clinical research capacity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field OR four years experience in a related field in lieu of bachelor's.

Skills

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and institutional regulations, policies, and guidelines.
  • Ability to interpret and clarify laws or regulations.
  • Experience in maintaining and establishing policies and procedures for compliance.
  • Strong educational background in clinical research.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan website at https://app4.ttuhsc.edu/payplan.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm.
