About the role
The role supports regulatory compliance across assigned insurance products and jurisdictions while enabling efficient product development, filings, and ongoing lifecycle management. The Regulatory Compliance Analyst partners closely with internal stakeholders and external regulators to interpret and apply state insurance laws, evaluate regulatory impact, and ensure filings, forms, and practices align with legal requirements and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Audits, Complaints & Examinations - Participate in market conduct exams, regulatory audits, partner audits, and complaint reviews. Support responses to regulatory inquiries and ensure accurate documentation and follow-up.
- Regulatory Monitoring & Analysis - Monitor state insurance laws, regulations, and bulletins; assess applicability and regulatory impact across products and jurisdictions. Interpret legislative and regulatory materials and develop action plans to maintain compliance. Evaluate regulatory changes that impact rate, rule, form content, or administrative practices.
- Filings & Product Support - Review, draft, and update policy forms, endorsements, notices, and related correspondence for compliance with state insurance laws. Coordinate and submit rate, rule, form, and other regulatory filings to state insurance departments. Support admitted and non-admitted products across multiple jurisdictions, accounting for differing regulatory requirements.
- Business Partnership & Regulatory Liaison - Serve as a regulatory liaison for internal partners, regulators, and external stakeholders. Provide regulatory guidance to underwriting, claims, customer service, licensing, and other functional teams. Partner with product teams during product development, expansions, and enhancements.
- Operational Effectiveness - Balance regulatory requirements with business objectives by evaluating compliant alternatives. Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting service standards and deadlines. Build and maintain effective working relationships across departments and with regulators.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal degree required.
- Will consider at least 2 years of experience in a comparable regulatory or compliance role.
- Experience with legal and regulatory research preferred.
- Insurance industry experience preferred; Personal Lines and ISO experience a plus.

- Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Sound judgment and ability to work effectively under general direction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to deadlines, service standards, and continuous improvement.
