Regulation Leader - Powersports

About the role

Support Power Sports Products (PSP) New Model Development by integrating upcoming regulations into development plans. Collaborate with project teams to ensure early compliance, assess regulation risks, and develop mitigation strategies. Create and implement plans to ensure regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities

• Manage updates on existing and upcoming regulations, monitor regional regulatory impacts, and report findings to development teams and leadership.
• Coordinate with the Product Regulatory Office and Product Liability teams to address regulatory issues.
• Support development teams in achieving compliance through user‑friendly tools and reporting mechanisms.
• Provide planning insights for upcoming regulation risks and schedule proposals, maintaining a rolling six‑month outlook.
• Identify global regulation trends, participate in advisory boards, and facilitate communication between engineering experts in Japan and the US.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in regulatory compliance or powersports.
• Strong knowledge of the powersports market and products, project management, and process skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and regulation data management tools.

Working Conditions

Travel is expected occasionally. The role is primarily desk‑based with keyboarding and limited physical activity. Overtime may be required based on project needs.
