Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Trains Acceptance Auditors
  • Audits sites and facilities for compliance
  • Investigates and resolves shipping errors related to hazardous materials
  • Tracks and reports non-compliance of all hazardous materials
  • Trains, tracks, and salts employees
  • Owes, supervises and manages all aspects pertaining to the UPS Regulated Goods program

Knowledge And Skills

  • Works a minimum of (3) nights per week to enable effective interaction with acceptance auditors as well as origin sorts for Haz Mat packages, includes walking and supporting operations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Project management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail and results-oriented
  • Able to work independently
  • Possesses analytical abilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Technology or Environmental Engineering - Preferred
