About the role
This position provides support services and assistance to students within the classroom setting.
Responsibilities
- Support teachers in managing classroom activities
- Assist students with academic tasks and assignments
- Provide guidance and support to students as needed
- Participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements
- At least one of the following:
- Completion of an Associate’s Degree
- Completion of at least 2 years of education at an institution of higher learning (48 or more credits must be completed)
- Paraeducator Certificate
- National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Bilingual Spanish Speaker is preferred but not required
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer literacy
Benefits
- Flexible schedule: 7.5 hours/day, 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
- Hourly wage: $15.76 - $16.21/hour (depending on experience)
