Registration Specialist II

Facility: Cox Medical Center Branson, 525 Branson Landing Blvd., Branson, Missouri, 65616. Department: Patient Registration. Scheduled weekly hours: 36 (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM, night shift).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival for scheduled and unscheduled visits
• Complete registration by collecting accurate demographic and insurance information
• Handle patient financial obligations at the time of service
• Perform financial clearance functions on assigned scheduled accounts during registration downtimes
• Greet and serve patients and internal team members in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner
• Travel between sites and work extended hours as required by department needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• At least 1-2 years of prior registration experience (preferred)

• Proficient in using computers and computer systems
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with the public and co-workers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
