Registration Representative

About the Role

Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Centennial is hiring a Registration Representative. This position requires weekdays only — no holidays, weekends, nights, or call.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and visitors
• Ensure accurate patient registration, insurance verification, and collection of patient financial responsibilities
• Provide support to various business office functions as needed, which may include patient admissions, scheduling, accounts payable, patient communications, chart preparation, and payment posting
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Two or more years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Knowledge of medical insurance, patient registration, and collections processes
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Strong customer service background preferred

The ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking, communication, and teamwork skills, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A demonstrated history of providing exceptional customer service is preferred.
