Responsibilities
- Support members by assessing eligibility, guiding application completion, and registering eligible 1199SEIU Child Care Fund members for childcare benefits in person, online, and virtually.
- Enter member applications and program information, meeting daily quotas as required.
- Update submitted applications with system-entered data.
- Manage high-volume phone calls and emails.
- Afford assistance in determining eligibility and completing applications.
- Maintain accurate files and records while ensuring confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma required; some college preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years’ work experience in an office environment and strong customer service experience required.
- Excellent data entry skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel, and ability to navigate web-based applications, is desirable.
- Bilingual skills are a plus (Spanish, Creole, French, Mandarin, etc.).
