About the role

Vitu is transforming the way vehicles, businesses, government, and drivers interact with one another through innovative Vehicle-to-Government (V2Gov) technology. Our platform manages titling and registration transactions in all 50 states, reimagining how drivers, businesses, and governments interact with vehicles. This role involves meticulously reviewing documents electronically filed by business partners to ensure compliance with DMV policies and internal procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Audit paperwork against DMV policies, providing notice to clients and DMV as set forth by company procedures.
  • Review an average of 600+ deals per day.
  • Flag errors that can be fixed and contact clients for additional information or documents.
  • Arrange paperwork in proper document order as per Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Identify errors and prohibited transactions using an auditor’s eye/instinct.
  • Determine if a transaction is worthy of an error notice and print clear, concise Error Notices for clients.
  • Arrange bundles in proper order for further review by BPA.
  • Access customer data to reprint required paperwork.
  • Manage each bundle after audit completion, marking errors as critical or fixable.
  • Print error reports.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience as a DMV clerk at a dealership, credit union, or as a previous DMV employee or registration service.
  • At least 1 year of experience as an Auditor or similar position.
  • Automotive industry knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Must be a team player, self-motivated, and career-oriented with a desire to contribute to company growth.
  • Maintain awareness of business-related trends in the industry.
  • Proven ability to organize and manage multiple priorities with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to offer suggestions to achieve desired results.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $19.00 - $21.25 per hour. Final pay will be determined by factors including location, education, experience, training, and skills.
