Registrar - PRN

Role: Registrar, PRN, supporting patient registration and the patient experience in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities Include Greeting patients and coordinating registration with departments.Creating accurate patient encounter records by collecting and entering demographic data.Performing phone and on-site registrations for scheduled patients.Verifying insurance coverage and initiating precertification when applicable.Assigning patient beds based on physician orders.Gathering registration data to meet regulatory standards and informing patients about policies and financial responsibilities.Collecting payments such as co-pays, deductibles, or estimates for non-covered services. Qualifications And Skills High school diploma or equivalent.Experience in hospital registration or bed control preferred.Knowledge of determining patient financial responsibility is a plus.
