About the role

The Huntington seeks a dynamic and experienced Director of Security & Operations to lead our security and operations team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of security and operations including physical security, emergency preparedness, and facility maintenance.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Manage a team of security officers and support staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment for visitors and staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management or related field.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a museum or similar cultural institution preferred.
• Background in security, law enforcement, or related fields.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
