About the role
The Southeastern Museums Conference is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for managing the organization's marketing efforts, including social media management, event promotion, and content creation.Responsibilities
- Manage the organization’s social media accounts, including posting content, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote events, memberships, and other initiatives.
- Create and maintain high-quality marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, and promotional videos.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure successful event promotions and sponsorships.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic marketing decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in social media management tools and graphic design software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Experience with event planning and promotion.
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Google Analytics.
