Registrar
About the role
The Registrar is responsible for leadership of the Enrollment Services Office and all records management functions, including accurate and confidential management of student records, certifying enrollment reporting, and coordinating departmental efforts associated with Barton's content management systems related to enrollment, scheduling, catalog, degree auditing, and other processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of the commencement activities and ceremony on campus.
- Serving as the Student Information System Student Module Lead.
- Serving as the institution's records custodian, ensuring institutional compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
- Ensuring department-wide demonstration of excellent communication and customer service skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and student records integrity.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- Excellent analytical, and written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Progressively responsible student records and registration experience.
- Experience With Banner Student Information System preferred.
