About the role
AASM-accredited multi-bed Lansing facility
No rotating hospital call — stable schedule
Exposure to industry-sponsored sleep research
Compumedics Profusion / Grael HD acquisition
Schedule 3–4 night shifts/week, typically 7 pm – 7 am.
Compensation Competitive hourly base + night-shift differential. $7,500–$10,000 sign-on at 90 days.
Relocation assistance available.
Responsibilities
- Perform polysomnographic testing in a multi-bed setting
- Assist patients with mobility and lifting as needed
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during testing
- Document findings accurately in athenaOne EMR
- Maintain compliance with AASM standards and protocols
- Participate in industry-sponsored sleep research
- Mentor junior technicians through BRPT credentialing
- Train on Compumedics Profusion (or cross-train within 30 days)
Requirements
- Current BRPT-issued RPSGT credential, in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of independent PSG acquisition experience
- Current BLS (CPR) certification
- Comfortable with Compumedics Profusion (or cross-train within 30 days)
- Able to lift 25 lb and assist patients with mobility
Qualifications
- Pediatric PSG experience preferred
- GCP and IATA training completed
- Familiarity with athenaOne EMR
Skills
- Proficient in Compumedics Profusion
- Excellent documentation skills
- Strong mentoring abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
