Registered Veterinary Technician, Surgery
Job Description
As a Veterinary Surgery Technician, you will provide skilled nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.
- Create accurate patient estimates and treatment plans for surgical oncology cases.
- Obtain comprehensive patient medical histories.
- Oversee the admission and discharge of patients within the service.
- Provide exceptional client communication and education.
- Schedule appointments, surgeries, and advanced imaging for all departments.
- Safely restrain patients during procedures.
- Perform general venipuncture, peripheral catheter placement, and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with at least 3 years of applicable experience.
- Strong knowledge of basic veterinary practices, procedures, and terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills, maintaining high-quality standards in patient care and decision-making.
- Ability to communicate effectively with CASE staff and team members.
- Freshman English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!

Pay
$27 - $29/hr. based on experience and skills assessment + $4.50/hr. overnight differential (after 7pm)
Schedule
Full-Time
- Monday – Friday
- 4x10 Hour Shifts
