Registered Veterinary Technician - RVT - Freeland Animal Hospital

About the role

We are seeking a full-time or part-time Registered Veterinary Technician at our busy AAHA accredited 2 Doctor practice in Indianapolis, IN.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to veterinarians during examinations and procedures
• Administer medications and treatments as directed
• Assist in diagnostic testing and laboratory procedures
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
• Handle administrative tasks such as charting and billing
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
• Communicate effectively with clients and other staff members

Requirements

• Current RVT license in the state of Indiana
• Experience in a veterinary setting preferred but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
• Ability to work weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or related field
• Completion of an accredited veterinary technician program

• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures

Pay

$22-$26 per hour

Schedule

Full-time and part-time positions available, with flexibility to accommodate weekends and holidays.
