Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) - Emergency & Critical Care (Overnight)
About the Role
Apex Vets is an independently owned emergency & specialty hospital built on a team-first approach called the Apex Climb—a rope team model where no one climbs alone. We support each other, communicate clearly, and move forward together, especially when things get hard. Great medicine comes from people who feel supported, challenged, and proud of the work they do.
What Makes This Role Different
You're not here to simply carry out treatments. You're here to be a true clinical partner in emergency medicine. Technicians are trusted to work at the top of their skillset—managing critical patients, supporting advanced procedures, thinking critically, and playing a direct role in patient outcomes. You'll be supported, challenged, and expected to continue growing as a nurse and teammate.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage hospitalized patients
- Obtain histories, perform assessments, and recognize changes in condition

Who Thrives Here (The Apex Climb Mentality)
- Climb as part of a team, not as a soloist

- Take initiative and communicate early

- Support teammates and expect the same in return

If you're looking to grow your skills and practice at a high level, you'll fit in well here. If you're looking to simply complete tasks and go home, this probably isn't the right environment.
