Description Dermatology for Animals is looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Rockville, MD.

Responsibilities

• Play a vital role in supporting patient care by providing comprehensive assistance throughout each visit.
• Support with dermatology treatments and laboratory testing.
• Essential services include patient intake, monitoring, and discharge.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
• RVT (active and current in Maryland) required.
• Superior/advanced technical skills.
• Possesses a positive work attitude.
• Self-motivated.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.

Qualifications

Skills

• Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care).

Pay

The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. An expected starting range of $31 – $36 / hour is negotiable based on experience and credentials.
