About the role

Description Greenbriar Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Frederick, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end care for pets, ranging from outpatient treatments to laboratory tests.
  • Support services including admitting and discharging patients.
  • Play an important role in pets' lives by facilitating their care.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
  • CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current).
  • Superior/advanced technical skills.
  • Strong anesthesia skills (obtaining Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02).
  • Possesses a positive work attitude.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.

Pay

The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. An expected starting range of $28 – $30 / hour is negotiable based on experience and credentials.

Schedule

Full-time position, working 30 hours or more per week.
