Registered Veterinary Technician

About the role

We are hiring for the position of Registered Veterinary Technician in the locations of St. Charles, O'Fallon, MO, Florissant, and Wentzville. The pay range for this role is $22.01 - $31.80 per hour. Sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance may be available for a limited time only, depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Provide furry, feathered, and scaled pets with the best possible care, especially preventive care.
• Upon approval from supervising veterinarian, perform veterinary technician appointments. All appointments must be under the direction and supervision of veterinarian and in compliance with state law.
• Build close relationships with pets and the humans who love them.
• Work closely with teammates and cultivate a positive, dynamic work culture.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• A current, valid, and unrestricted license as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).
• Experience in a veterinary clinic setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

The qualifications for this role include:

• A bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field.
• Completion of an accredited veterinary technician program.
• Current certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).
