Registered Veterinary Nurse

About the role

Blythman & Partners Ltd are looking to welcome a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our large, independent, mixed veterinary practice. We offer a rewarding and varied caseload in a supportive and friendly environment. This is a full-time permanent position, with 35 hours per week primarily Monday to Friday, though you may be required to work at any of our 7 branch surgeries and the Hospital site on a shared rota covering nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

The hospital site is in Gosforth, and the branch surgeries are located in Westerhope, Hebburn, Gateshead, Wallsend, Heddon-on-the-Wall, South Shields, and Whitburn. Based in the wider Newcastle upon Tyne area, you will experience a wide range of animals and clients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver gold standard care to clients and patients.
• Work independently and manage the day-to-day running of all clinical areas.
• Build excellent rapport with clients and collaborate with our existing team of vets, nurses, and receptionists.
• Utilize well-equipped branches and hospital site facilities, including diagnostic tools and in-house laboratory equipment.
• Support trainee veterinary nurses as part of our recognized training practice.

Requirements

• RVN qualification.
• Driving licence and own transport.
