About the role
Join the team at our award-winning Mead Vet Centre. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who values patient care and progression. Here at Mead Vet Centre, you’ll be fully involved in a varied caseload, including Orthopaedics, TPLOs, Fracture Repairs, Complex Medical Cases, Laparoscopic Spays, and more. This role offers the opportunity to work within your own areas of interest—whether you enjoy all areas of nursing or specialize in surgery, wards, anaesthesia, or intensive care. We support your growth and aim to help you become the RVN you strive to be, with potential to progress into diverse roles such as Lead or Senior RVN, dedicated theatre or wards nursing, or even management.
Responsibilities
As an RVN, you’ll play an integral part of our dedicated day team, providing compassionate care and support to patients in need. You must have strong clinical skills, the ability to handle emergency situations with confidence, excellent communication and teamworking abilities, and a compassionate, empathetic approach to patient care. Optimising patient care is our primary focus.
Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification

Benefits
- Salary of up to £35,000, depending on experience
- 4-day work week with 1:5 weekends (TOIL for weekends worked)
